General terms
Our terms and conditions do not
affect your statutory rights. To purchase any items via directfirestore.co.uk you must be at least 18 years of age and goods must be delivered to a UK
mainland address. We will treat each order for goods as an offer by
you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.

specifications are available from the manufacturer's brochures or
their websites. Should you require assistance or confirmation of information Directfirestore.co.uk will be happy to assist as per any requests made.
Accuracy of Product Information
Product
specifications, images and other information published on directfirestore.co.uk have either been made accessible by suppliers,
manufacturer's, publications, publicists, or been gathered from
public domain sources. The intention of Directfirestore.co.uk is that all
information on the website should be as accurate and up to date as
possible. However, The intention of Directfirestore.co.uk cannot guarantee the reliability
or the accuracy of the information contained within its pages. All
the actions taken by the user of the website are the responsibility
of the individual.
Payment and Price
The total price payable
for the goods will be debited from your account at the time you
place your order. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price
to take account of any increase in our suppliers' prices, or the
imposition of any taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission
the price published for the goods is wrong whether or not the order
has been confirmed. We will inform you of the correct price and give
you the opportunity to cancel the order and or dispute our request. All prices on our website
are inclusive of VAT but exclusive of delivery charges which will be
payable as indicated at the time of placing your order &
confirmed during the checkout process.
Typographical Errors
In the event a product
is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error
in pricing information from our suppliers, taxes or duty changes, we
shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the
incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed. If your
credit card has already been charged and we subsequently cancel your
order, we will immediately issue a refund to your credit card
account in the value of monies paid (including delivery
charges).
Payment Methods
We accept all major credit
and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard and Switch. At time of
ordering you must provide us with your exact billing address and
telephone number - the address and phone number your credit card
bank has on file for you. Incorrect information will cause a delay
in processing your order. Your order will only be processed once
authorisation of your credit card has been properly received. You
may also pay by cheque or postal order although we cannot dispatch
the goods until payment has been cleared which can take at least 10
days.
Availability of Goods
All products and
services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any
time. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not
charge you for these and we will refund any money already paid for
them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for
any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.
Delivery Charges
All prices on our website
are exclusive of delivery charges which will be added to the price
of the products . Delivery prices quoted are for most UK Mainland
addresses.
Delivery Times
We will endeavour to deliver
goods within the times stated but goods are subject to availability
and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside our control. Any
dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only
and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges,
or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods.
Product Guarantees
All products supplied are
covered by the terms and conditions of the Manufacturer's Guarantee
for a period of 12 months. This does not affect your statutory
rights.
Cancellation of Orders
Returned Goods
If you are not totally satisfied with your
purchase for any reason. It is your responsibility to return any
such items in a pristine saleable condition in their original box
and packaging. You will be wholly responsible for the return of the
goods and any associated costs of return. Goods received back
incomplete, damaged or in any condition other than saleable, will be
returned to you and the cost of return carriage charged to your
account. Prior to returning any products, please contact us within 7
days from the date of delivery. If you do not return goods within 7
days after you have informed us that you wish to cancel your order,
your right to cancel will be revoked.
please allow upto 30 days
for all card refunds.
In all instances of return of goods by customer choice except for damaged goods, the initial delivery charge paid is non-refundable.
The delivery charge we make is a subsidised charge and does not reflect the true cost of delivering the items we sell. Should you wish to return an item please be aware that should you choose to use our carriers the charge will be a minimum admin and collection charge of £55.
IMPORTANT NOTES.
We will only deliver goods to the address on the order .On delivery our couriers will require you to sign a Proof of Delivery which shall be conclusive evidence that you have received your order.
You agree to check the goods on receipt and inform us of any obvious external cosmetic damage following inspection of the goods. If there is any obvious cosmetic external damage to the goods at the time of delivery then you agree to note these on the delivery paperwork or refuse the delivery. We also ask that customers check that the number of packages being delivered corresponds with the consignment note. If you do not receive the correct number of items please mark down the number of items received on the consignment note and upon closer inspection notify us of any missing or incorrect items.
Signing the delivery note to accept receipt and confirming you have inspected them for any obvious external cosmetic damage are conditions of the sale and we reserve the right not to complete the delivery if you refuse these conditions. If we refuse delivery then the goods will be returned and all monies paid will be refunded.
Where any obvious cosmetic external damage has been noted on your Proof of Delivery this shall not affect your statutory rights.
Once you have received goods you will be responsible for their care. Damage incurred to the goods subsequent to delivery will be your responsibility.
Upon fully inspecting the goods any discrepancies such as goods shortages or incorrect goods we ask that you report it to us by email to customerservices@directfirestore.co.uk within a reasonable time.
NON DELIVERY OF
GOODS
Once delivery has been
arranged it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that someone
is at the property to accept the goods. Should our vehicles or
vehicles delivering on our behalf arrive and not be able to deliver
a fixed charge of £25 will be made. This is the cost incurred for
storage of the item and arranging re-delivery or return delivery to
our warehouse. By accepting our terms and conditions you are
agreeing the additional charge can be taken from your credit or
debit card.
In all cases delivery charges are
non-refundable once delivery has been attempted.
Damage in transit: If goods arrive in a damaged condition you must make a note on the carrier's delivery consignment note and return the goods with the carrier. By signing for the goods you are stating that you are willing to keep the goods regardless of condition. Failure to return known damaged goods or failure to fully check items prior to accepting them is the responsibility of the customer.
Shortages: It is your responsibility to sign for the correct
number of packages as shown on the carrier's delivery consignment
note. Any shortages must be noted on the consignment note and it
will be your responsibility to notify us within 10 days from
delivery.
Incorrect Goods: It is your responsibility to notify
us of any incorrect goods supplied within 7 days from delivery.
ALWAYS CHECK WITH YOUR GAS FITTER THAT THE FIRE YOU ARE LOOKING TO PURCHASE WILL FIT IN YOUR HOME.
Returns
It is your responsibility to ensure that the goods you order are suitable for installation into your home. We urge you to check all measurements and installation requirements with the manufacturer before ordering the product. The information contained in our product guides is for guidance only and should be used in conjunction with the manufacturer's specifications and the advice of your own GAS SAFE gas fitter. We may at our discretion allow you to return unwanted goods for exchange or refund. All items returned cannot be sold as new and will need to be sold as slight seconds or customer returns. Due to this there will be a re-sale and re-stocking charge of 40% of the product price for this service. In addition to this there is a 5% administration charge to cover additional costs incurred. Returns must be in pristine, saleable condition and full working order, complete with all parts and undamaged original packaging. Delivery and collection charges will also apply. To arrange a return you should contact us to establish the circumstances and we may then issue an authorised Goods Return Note (GRN) and arrange for the goods to be returned to us. Goods that are returned without a GRN will not be accepted and will be re-delivered to you.
Safety
Please remember that installing gas appliances is not a DIY job. All gas appliances must be installed by a qualified GAS SAFE registered engineer.
The information given on our site is a guide only. To confirm suitability of any gas product you should employ a GAS SAFE registered engineer to conduct a site survey and report. The return of an unsuitable product that is not faulty will incur a handling and carriage charge as stated above.
